Emma Bloomfield Teacher

Teacher Profile

My name is Emma Blomfield and I have been a Pilates Trainer since 2003.  My interest came from an instructor who I met and who brought Pilates to the club which I trained at many years ago; who also inspired me to become a Pilates instructor.  I fell in love with Pilates, so decided on a career change from (Legal Secretary).  I trained at the Michael King Institute of Pilates, where I gained my Level 1/2 qualification in 2003.

I have continued to learn and grow my experience in teaching in fitness venues throughout Essex, including Stockbrook Manor, Virgin Active and Club Kingswood.  In 2006 I began teaching my own classes and taking on qualifications for 1-1.

I gained my Level 3 qualification in Pilates in 2011 and to date 2016 gained my qualification in small equipment, wunda chair, spine arc reformer and Cadillac.  Now I have my own cabin where I can teach 1-1 or duet.

Pilates has always helped me correct my own body and mental attitude towards everyday life, also as a Pilates teacher I want my clients to gain the benefits too.

I am also a Les Mills Body Balance instructor since 2007.
